Slot racing circuits used to have wired speed controllers plugged into a base. Wany’s engineers developed a new system of remote controls using their expertise in low cost wireless communications and infrared based electronics circuits specifically designed for this application The Stadlbauer Group licensed this technology to offer a new range of products and refresh the capabilities of the existing circuit, allowing thousands of users to use wireless remote controls without changing their circuit. Like many innovations initiated by Wany, the features offered by Carrera Wireless gave a competitive advantage to the company. |
